Loyal Primus
Jan 1, 2025

The existing CRM overwhelmed users. Navigation felt unclear. Information bombarded them from every corner. Simple tasks like depositing funds, withdrawing, or creating an account became confusing journeys. The platform looked dull and outdated, reducing engagement and discouraging active trading.
Users needed clarity, not clutter. They needed motivation, not friction.
Building a Scalable Design Foundation
I started in Figma with a complete design system. Defined variables for colors, spacing, and typography. Built reusable components with consistent behavior. The goal was scalability our team could tweak features without breaking visual consistency.
Scalable components meant future updates wouldn't require redesigning from scratch. New features could plug into the existing system. Rebrand once, maintain easily.
What We Built
Dashboard Overview
When users log in, they see what matters immediately: account balances, equity, total credit, and number of accounts. We integrated TradingView's live market data so users could check real valuations without leaving the dashboard. Campaign banners promote active offers, letting users participate instantly.
Account performance displays clearly, balance, equity, leverage, and status for each account. Traders know at a glance which accounts are ready for action.
Simplified KYC Process
KYC forms overwhelm users when they demand everything at once. We broke it into bite-sized steps. Progressive disclosure reduced cognitive load. Users filled out what they needed to, when they needed to.
Error handling got smarter. Instead of vague messages, we showed exactly what went wrong and how to fix it, whether during deposit, withdrawal, internal transfer, or payment processing.
Promotions and Leaderboards
We added ranking tables to promotions. Seeing where they stand motivates traders to perform better. Gamification without gimmicks—just clear, competitive feedback.
Loyalty Points System
The loyalty program needed transparency. Users could see available rewards, their current points, and how many more points they needed for specific items. The message was clear: trade more, earn more, claim what you want.
Motivation comes from visibility. If users don't know what they can earn, they won't chase it.
IB (Introducing Broker) Program Dashboard
Transparency matters for IB partners. We built a dashboard showing their performance, referral account performance, commission breakdowns, and total referral value. Charts made the data digestible.
IB partners needed to see exactly how much they earned and where it came from. Ambiguity kills trust. Clear data builds it.
Light and Dark Mode
We added theme options. Some traders prefer bright interfaces. Others need dark mode for long sessions. Flexibility improves user experience without adding complexity.
The Impact
The rebrand shifted engagement. Navigation became intuitive. Information hierarchy reduced overwhelm. Users found what they needed faster deposit, withdraw, check balances, participate in campaigns.
Clear error messages reduced support tickets. Bite sized KYC forms increased completion rates. Loyalty points and leaderboards motivated active trading. IB partners trusted the platform more because they could see their earnings transparently.
The platform stopped feeling like a chore and started feeling like a tool traders wanted to use.
What I Learned
Scalable design systems aren't just about efficiency. They're about consistency under growth. When the design foundation is solid, adding features doesn't create visual debt.
Clarity beats decoration. Traders don't need flashy interfaces. They need fast access to critical information and frictionless workflows.
Gamification works when it's transparent. Leaderboards and loyalty points motivate users, but only if they understand how the system works and what they can achieve.
Error handling is UX. Vague errors frustrate users and increase support load. Specific, actionable error messages turn problems into solvable tasks.
